HUNTER JOHN AND JANE: A PLAY WITH SONGS (5 F, 4 F)

Alcoholic and homeless, Hunter John lives in the park. After befriending the ghost of a dead prostitute who begs him to help her find her remains, John must remain sober long enough for his life to change completely.

BULLY (6 F)

Wren, Simone and Tanisha beat up other women for fun on the weekends. Bree, one of their victims, discovers their identity and plots revenge with friends Delilah and Candace. In her quest for revenge against the bullies who beat her up, will Bree learn more about herself than she bargained for?

The Jailer’s Daughter loves the Prince. The Prince loves The Woman Who Is Not Anne. In a world outside of romance novels, who will live happily ever after? This play is a re-imagining of Shakespeare’s play Two Noble Kinsmen with a modern, fantastical and feminist twist.

AN AMERICAN FAMILY TAKES A LOVER (2 F, 2 M)

Richard David, Lady Anne and Justine prepare to celebrate Justine’s fifth year of captivity. On the eve of their anniversary with the help of swimming lessons from handyman Thomas, Justine must decide if she wants to continue her life of captivity or take the plunge into freedom.

African-American Eugene and Irish immigrant Jami inexplicably fall in love. It’s summertime in 1919 in the city of Chicago and as the heat and tensions rise, Eugene and Jami must figure out who and what they are truly loyal to.

Bertha has worked for the Brennan family for most of her adult life, but has always dreamed of being a writer. Now, haunted by the ghost of her dead grandmother and the suspicion that her life has been a waste, will Bertha be able to figure out how to direct and tell her own story? Meanwhile, the Brennans struggle with their own issues.

Olivia loves Malcolm. Malcolm loves doors. Missy loves Kyle. Kyle loves Cynthia. Cynthia loves money – and meat. What is the price of getting exactly what you want and insisting on being exactly who you are in 1982?

THE TAXIDERMST: A PSYCHOSEX THRILLER (3 F, 2 M):

In this modern day re-imagining of Frankenstein, Quinn, dominatrix and taxidermist, learns about motherhood after one of her clients accidentally dies and she stuffs him, bringing him back to life.

Henry is a poet soldier gone AWOL. He tries to remember how to be human after the inhumanity of war, with the help of the loving singer Lana while an investigator hunts him down.
